1947-55 Chevrolet Advance-Design stake, with heavy-duty bumper and wheel rims. With the 1949+ fuel filler pipe behind the cab (nice "rag cap" .gif ";)") ), but without the 1951+ vent windows: a 1949-50 only model.The long (161"/4.09 m) wheelbase (to be compared to the "short" 137"/3.48 m one) and the height of the bed make it most probably a 4400 / 6400 High Rack stake (4419 / 6419 Chevrolet code).
