Fiat Ducato Maxi (if not a Citroen or Peugeot clone). |

I became sick afterwards. At my last -and only!- three Burger King-visits in the last 2 years I became sick every time. In Schiphol, in Gretna Green/Scotland and in Dorsten/Germany. So I boycott Burger King for wellbeing-reasons. |

Avoid the place altogether. After the stress my wife and I experienced missing an onward connection because of the chaos in Schiphol I'd rather walk. |

When were you involved in the chaos in Schiphol? We last March on the way back from our California-trip All flights from Overseas were delayed, so we missed the connecting flight to Düsseldorf. The KLM-clowns wanted to put us in a hotel until the following day - but we are living not even 2 hours by car from there After a long discussion we could grab our luggage and escaped by train. A rental car was not possible. The following weeks we had some discussions, until we got the money for the train-tickets and the missed flight back. |

Ingo, it was May of 2013, transferring from flight from Manchester to flight to Zurich. Everywhere was just too full with people to let us walk the 40 minute transfer across the airport. Fortunately they just put us on the next flight 1.5 hours later, but the stress until they agreed was immense as we were meeting a river cruise for the next 8 days. At least the flights were comfortable but on the return trip the lounge for the gate used by KLM for flights to Manchester is like being in a cattle shed. -- Last edit: 2015-02-17 17:53:58 |
