Grille looks eleventh series Packard ca 1935 , but it has odd non stock headlights , parking lights and bumper.Also , the roofline looks anormally high.Will need to find out. |

Yes it is a Packard but a bit earlier maybe '30 or '31. All these pics are distorted. |

1931 Packard (8th series) with 9th series grille upgrade. This was made availabla at factory to make remaining cars in stock more saleable when the 9thseries appeared. This one is a 1932 (all the way) 933 Packard sedan - it is not an upgraded 1931 model. It was possible to have the new "V" shaped grille installed on 1931 Packards, but, this is a 1932 because of many features - the one-piece curved bumpers and the spoke wheels with the large hubcaps being the primarily "tells" on this one. Both of those features were 1932 only and they could NOT upgrade the wheels on a 1931 to use 1932 wheels. Very nice-looking car. |
