1990-92 rather (rhombus with riffles) July 1991 brochure: ![]() February 1992, still with "Renault 21" and "Nevada" badge: ![]() Exact date of 1992 of this one is not known, it was titled "Renault 21 Nevada" but the picture shows it without the number: ![]() Spec sheet at the back says "Caracteristics techniques - Annee modele 1992-93" August 1992, with "Renault" and "Nevada" badge but the full name on the brochure: ![]() So basically, the Nevada lost the 21 for 1993, at the beginning in France, and at the end of the MY in Germany (April 1993 brochure) ![]() -- Last edit: 2025-01-25 21:54:03 |

Yes, indeed, I checked various pictures of 1992/93 Nevadas from several markets and it seems in that period it lost the 21 badge everywhere in Europe. I thought only very late ones (after the Laguna came out) lost the 21 prefix but as it turns out it was earlier. I think this was even discussed in the past? But I can't find the right entry now ![]() So, we should shave off 21 from Nevadas with the smooth badge, or? |

Yes I remember this was already dicussed, but we couldn't find a precise date for the name change. Anyway, also French wiki comfirms the change for MY 1993 to Renault Nevada, and Renault Savanna in the UK. There was a similar discussion also for the Alfa Romeo 33 Sport Wagon, which for the 907 model is always referred to as Alfa Romeo Sport Wagon in official documents, and also lacks the '33' script on the bootlid -- Last edit: 2025-01-26 00:22:14 |
