This one appears to be a very early Fastback. The only thing one can go by is it doesn't appear to have the plastic buttons. But on closer examination the tank looks more like an Atlas tank and it does have the big sausage silencers of the Atlas and early Commando. Also the tail light lense appears to be the Lucas KJ-1 or KJ-2 type not the 679 used on 68-72 models also it has a very abbreviated front fender. Perhaps the earliest Commando fastback produced. After all it was designated as an Atlas MkIII. Any enlightenment would be welcome. Norvil doesn't list any history from 1967 through 1969 for the Commando. -- Last edit: 2009-08-08 10:09:17 |
