Wampa-One ◊ 2008-04-13 22:21	(maybe a scale model in last pic?) Maybe it has missed a few safety inspections since it seems to have no horn? Also, I guess it is a goof that the speedometer needle seems to read zero mph, yet the bus was moving.

HunterMan ◊ 2013-12-16 05:28	This was obviously an old "junk" school bus that the studio had around somewhere and used for the scene. Even in 1978 they would not have had a bus, still being used for whatever school district, without a horn.

Had the school district ensured it had a proper safety inspection and functioning brakes, they probably could have saved Superman the hassle of lifting it from the edge of the bridge. And he could have reached Lois in time rather than spinning the Earth backwards and reversing time, disobeying his Dad, Jor-El.
