Did British Road Services (BRS) operate in Aus?? |

I beg to differ on Austin. I think it's a 1938/9 or just postwar Dodge. |

Definitely not Austin bottom of side window should not be straight. 1945 Dodge 121 'Major' 6-Ton by the windscreen, door, etc. is possible /vehicle_592245-Dodge-121-1945.html |

Looking at the fairly hefty electric motor and the large packing case being loaded, I wouldn't argue against the truck being a six tonner. |

I stand corrected , it was the curve in top window and the thought that it was in Britain that made me slip |

Unless they did operate in Australia, the British Road Services name looks possibly like a local "mock-up" to me. Its close but does not look exactly right. Possibly done for a documentary or publicity for British Road Services showing they can export to other countries. |
