On the first attached thumbnail, we can see that the script located at the rear of the quarter panel, just upper the side marker lamp, is made with attached letters that indicates "Marquis"; the Monterey used block letters instead of attached. The location of the script is typical for '69, for '70 it is on the front fender. Then on the second thumbnail, the poor Mercury is mostly dismantled, but an interesting part is left on: the right headlight cover. The Monterey didn't had concealed headlights. Because there isn't any visible emblem on the C pillar, I assume that it isn't a Brougham so '69 Mercury Marquis Hardtop Coupe, Model 66. |
