In the show, this car is used to chase a plane at 200mph. The chase is wrong in so many ways, with the occasional Lamborghini Gallardo V10 sound overlays and a dashboard shot from a Ferrari 360 with a manual transmission. (For the record, the 458 was only offered with a dual-clutch automatic.) The roof is also thrown off at speed like a Corvette owner who forgot to secure his targa top before leaving. (The 458 Spider has a power retractable hardtop and a top speed of 198mph probably with it up.) Near the end of the chase, the car does a rolling burnout at speed.
