A post office engineering vehicle,this van would have originally had a white stripe around the bodywork,the yellow stripe livery not appearing till the mid eighties |

Not sure how big was the Post office engineering fleet was.By 1989 some vehicles were repainted in in a grey white colour,late just white and became part of a another branch of the Post office egineering fleet called Romec. |

Ital door handles = from around 07/80+ but, as it's on an 08/82-07/83 Y suffix plate, it probably is a Ital 440/575. |
