Plate is XK 8136 and seems to be a Talbot. |

A London CC number plate issued between January and May 1922. The most likely model on quantity produced is the 25/50 which ran from 1919 to 1927, 1107 cars produced, but there were somewhat smaller 15 and 16 hp models. The coachwork strongly resembles the 25/50 Martin and Young saloon shown on page 188 of Baldwin's A to Z of Cars of the Twenties. -- Last edit: 2014-05-28 09:06:47 |

The Talbot 25/50 was 4,500cc. There is, according to Baldwin, no early 20s Talbot that has a 2366cc engine, so have the unreliable DVLA failed yet again, or is this an unknown model? |
