'55 Studebaker for sure. Looks like full real wheel opening so I'm thinking Commander (not President, which would have fender skirts). Regal Ultra Vista 4dr V8. |

Too blurry for definitive model identification re: Commander vs Champion. Agree with 1955. -- Last edit: 2014-05-08 13:45:58 |

Thanks, Commander. How 'bout this one from episode 3.10 @14:09? Looks like a '55 coupe to me. President State, Champion Regal or Commander Regal? Not a Speedster, unfortunately. -- Last edit: 2014-05-08 15:43:17 |

That one also appears to carry Regal trim but no way to tell model from distance/photo quality. Agree it appears to be a coupe but same was available in all 3 lines. |

Not a Studebaker. Don't know. Oddsox may have it. |

righto -- rear fender skirts were on the '55 President 4dr only, is that right? As for photo quality, unfortunately most of the independents are background vehicles only on this show . A few exceptions like the '55 Nash and the '55 Hudson Rambler wagon we discussed at length. Too bad, would have been nice to see a main character in a Hudson or Nash Healey or '55 Stude Speedster or '56 Packard, you know? Same with the foreign makes -- just that Jag XK140 in one of the early episodes. Otherwise imports are just background cars. But it's nice to have a home page for the '55 Studes I find & thanks again for your help identifying them. |

Correct. The coupes (and hardtops) did not carry fender skirts. |
