On previous form it's a Ford Ten Model CX, 1934-7; it's just that I've always thought of it as Model C. |

Not quite. Model C introduced 10th September 1934, and deleted when the CX was introduced on 15th October 1935. The only noticeable differences are the louvres along the side of the bonnet, and three crosswise bars added to the radiator grille. Very inconveniently, you can't see any of this in the picture, so using the earliest first convention we have 1934 Ford Ten Model C Fordor. CX discontinued 22nd March 1937, in favour of 7W Ten. Each model was available as a two or four door saloon, with fixed or sliding roof, and as a two door four seat tourer, of which a total of 2,863 were made. I've never seen a tourer, but my Uncle had a Tudor with fixed roof, BYF 708. /vehicle_90320-Ford-Ten-CX-1935.html /vehicle_485966-Ford-Ten-CX-1936.html -- Last edit: 2014-03-31 09:37:34 |
