johnfromstaffs ◊ 2014-03-24 11:58	Looking to be one of the last Standard Vanguard Vignales built with the 1940s design four cylinder engine, since this car does not have the word "SIX" which was to be found under the Vanguard badge of the cars with the Triumph 2000 engine. The Six used in some Standard/Triumph publicity photos has an earlier registration than this car. We had, at home, both a Vignale Estate on which I took my driving test, and later a Triumph 2000. I think that the Triumph was an improvement, even though our Vanguard had the optional four on the floor. -- Last edit: 2014-03-24 12:00:55
