That's what I'm thinking although it could also be a Dodge 600 or Plymouth Caravelle since they are similar... but it's definately a large K-car dirivative. |

It says 1984 on the C-pillar. Junkyards usually scrawl years on the cars like that on various places. They made a mistake. This car is an '83 Chrysler E-Class because 1) Caravelle and 600 debuted in '85 and 2) '84 E-Class and '85 Caravelle/600 had wraparound taillights. -- Last edit: 2006-11-26 09:09:38 |

There is wrong information here. The E-Class and Dodge 600 sedans arrived in 1983 (with the E-body New Yorker). In 1984, Dodge combined the 400 and 600 lines and made the former 400 2-door coupe/convertible 600s, while the 400 4-door (that was the LeBaron twin) was discontinued. The Caravelle was introduced in Canada in 1983 and the US in 1985. The wraparound taillights did arrive in 1984 for both the E-class and 600. |
