Seems that gmguy and rockstarnorth225 are right ![]() ![]() (Honda Accord Mk5 Sedan - US Brochure 1994) It's a non-European fifth generation 1994 Honda Accord based on the [CD] chassis. Produced in Ohio or in Mexico (more likely than in Japan, Philippines or New Zealand). In the picture of the movie, the logo and the "under-grille" cannot be seen properly. Otherwise we should have say if it is a 94-95 pre face-lift model or a 96-97 post face-lift one: ![]() (1994: Honda logo on the hood and open "under-grille" // 1996: Honda logo in the grille and closed "under-grille") -- Last edit: 2014-03-29 03:45:20 |

I'm fairly certain it's the 94-95, judging by the thin line on the grille and the chin spoiler. |

Thanks for the "rapido-presto" validation ![]() If you click on the pictures of the 96-97 models, you'll see they also have the grille line and the spoiler... -- Last edit: 2014-03-29 04:09:17 |

Gimp is our friend ![]() ![]() Seems to be the open under-grille, with the normal line inside: ![]() (click...) -- Last edit: 2014-03-29 04:13:26 |

As carcrasher88 said, it's a 1994-95 model. For one thing, 1996-97 models have chrome around the grille while the subject Accord lacks it. |

Couldn't it be a trim level accessory? But I know you're right, all the more since I had already searched a little: no 94-95 model seems to have more than a colored plastic grille surround. -- Last edit: 2014-03-29 04:57:00 |

In 1994, there were 264,000 US-built Accords and 104,000 Japanese-built Accords sold in the US (28% of total). (Ward's Automotive Yearbook) |
