It's a 155 Silverstone from 1994. A "homologation special" with front and rear spoilers.

Driven on two wheels by Gabriele Tarquini, 1994 BTCC champion.

Exact model name was 2.0 TS Silverstone, there was also a celebration limited edition of the 155 named so.

^Yes TS Silverstone name of homologation special, racecar just Silverstone wherever I looked for BTCC references.

In UK, I've only found Silverstone edition for 1.8 Twin Spark - no other engine sizes listed - June 94, 300 available in red or black, front and rear spoilers, low profile alloys and roll bars, slight interior upgrades. Then in June 95, normal 1.8 Twin Spark got many of the body kit items as standard.

I thought this 1.8 TS Silverstone was supposed to be made in 2500 examples for homologation.. just 300? I'm not sure how homologation worked, maybe the rest 2200 could come from another version :??:
Here's a link about the 2500 needed and the Alfa Corse "cheat": Link to "1990sbtcc.com"

Or 300 was the UK allocation from the batch of 2500 across all markets?? Trying to sell 2500 in UK alone would have been ambitious. Alfa also raced 155 in DTM/ITC, so were probably homologating for a few championships, not just the BTCC.

Yes, I believe that 300 was UK batch, I think they were circa 300 for each market. It was sold in Italy and GB as Silverstone and in France, Germany and Benelux as Formula, according to various sources. The 155 V6 TI was a totally different car built for different rules, so the Silverstone didn't affect the DTM/ITC homologation. ;)
This edition had its own code (167.157.0.0) but I'm not sure would be useful to use it here?

Edit: not racing Silverstone were 1.8 TS anyway, not 2.0 indeed. And there was a second edition after the facelift of the 155, but that one wasn't subject to the homologation rule since the car had already been withdrawn from the BTCC (They were still 2500 AFAIK though).
