dhill_cb7 ◊ 2021-10-11 03:29	Curiously most, if not all, EU models have repeaters. The trunklid is definitely EU spec. @weasel Could this be specific to Poland? For now I’ll add the EU tag but we could change if we find out Polish models do not have repeaters but the elongated trunklid. All Lexus LS 400 should have a made for tag as the JDM model was badged a Toyota Celsior.
Weasel1984 ◊ 2021-11-06 14:41	Can't add anything to that unfortunately. Maybe it is US version after modifications - "Europeization". Maybe even some small, independent importer improted new ones from North America (it could be cheaper this way sometimes back then) - but it would rather keep the American boot lid... Worth to note, there are to find also some Swiss ones without repeaters, but seems they also always have the N. American-alike boot lid with place for narrow reg. plate (which BTW was to meet in more Japanese cars sold there in the 1990s - for example also in Celicas).
