 Mrs M! This Gemini was used in a high speed chase scene in the early Margot Gaffney episodes... would make for some pretty good screen shots!

 Plate issued January 1982. Plate BGS000 was the first plate of 1982, so this was the 244th car registered in Victoria in '82 - most likely the first few days of the year. Being so early in 1982, it's most certainly a 1981 model. "SL" trim.

The TE rear end always reminds me a bit of a 1980s Rolls Royce, but the TE actually came to market 1 year before the Rolls.

This is Meg Jackson's car (prison officer and main character for the entire show). For some reason, quite a few staff at the prison all seem to drive Geminis! In very early episodes, Meg is shown driving a Commodore, but in the second half of the show we don't really see her car at all (except in one episode in 1984 where she's seen driving a Nissan Bluebird). I always found it unlikely that she'd be able to afford a brand-new Gemini on a prison officer's salary.
