The Transtars (name used starting 1956)had an air scoop and chrome mouldings on the front of a slightly redesigned hood. 1954 and 1955 also had a "four-oval" grill - which the Porky's tuck did not have. Therefore this truck is a 1949-1953 (the differences are SO slight - and often show up only in the interior) 2R ,probably a "16" meaning 1 1/2 ton. |
