Polish "Motor" from the early 70s informs that there were plans to start assembly of the Simca 1301 and 1000 in Titograd/YU, but something tells me this deal was not finalized(?)...

I'm working on this now. There are articles about "this" NSU-VW, but mostly based on the foreign ones. However title of one you should like (from 1971) - "VW K70 - the best car of the 1970s?"

Is there any chance to get original magazines? :) There is never anything on eBay from Poland (130rapid told me due taxation reasons) and for a one-day- or weekend-trip for strolling over Polish spare parts markets (which is the most recommended?) the distances are too long for me (610km just to the Polish border from here) :/

Before I wrote my comment here /vehicle_668913-Fiat-132-1977.html I've searched here for Simca and Peugeot "made in YU", but haven't found anything. If yes, I would have rampaged for listing them, as they would be real rarities and worth to be listed anyways, even as blurry background cars.

I own old "Motors", but from the 60s mostly. They are surprisingly more easy to get, but on the other hand are better IMHO than the ones from the early 70s.
I'm going from time to time through missing/not known yet ones in library. So what I can offer in this case are the copies only.
I have the K70 in my mind, but like for now there wasn't anything really original or worth special attention (though it was indeed a "loud automotive premiere" mentioned quite many times).
Anyway when I will finally end with "Motors", in free time I plan to check more specifically also next titles of this era.
