 I think this generation of these was sold as L200. The Triton name came later.

 Definitely not. Triton name has been used since 1986.

This model is a 1989-1992 due to the egg-crate grille (but the plate confirms 1992):

VIN returns: JMFMH1M47MJ006171

That makes this a [MH]. Registration was cancelled as of May 2016 after 24 years.
