On an old book about Simcas whose title was "Simca, un plaisir d'oiseau", I read that such particular version of the Aronde stripped of the side trim was specifically built for Hungary, Poland and Checoslovakia.

BTW these without the side trim had to be rare in Poland compared to the "normal" Arondes in the regular trim levels - one off delivery most possibly (if really any were delivered here!), guess it could be similar in the mentioned CS and HU too.
