 Sold in Australia as the "Kombi Transporter". Plate returns: 1982.

 Agree with the 'Kombi', but introduced to the market 1982, replaced by wasserboxer 1984 - so 1982-83 Kombi ?
Camper convertion, it seems, could it be by Lanock ?

 German made, btw. Not made for AUS by the RHD alone, the bumper with bar probably made in Aussie ?
