The one illustrated was known only as Mini(in 1970 Mini name becomes Brand of model into BLMC=British Leyland Motor Corporation)1000,without Austin(one of rationalisations of ex-Austin Seven and ex-Morris Mini Minor ranges,blending two ranges under a unique brand,Mini,just--by the fact that Minis before 1970 were still built with 4 different ex-BMC Brands--Austin,Morris,Riley and Wolseley-- and that thing would generates confusion,over that raised production costs) |

France kept Austin brand until about 1973, with an extra badge on the boot; similar happened for CH and W Germany and maybe other bits of Europe. |
