Sold as a whole product (chassis + body), the small Step-van (with a hyphen), a.k.a. P-10, was named Step-van 7 by Chevrolet. With such a grille but the headlights above the blinkers, this one is a 1969-72 model. Which means a PS10535 chassis code. And at least a 1970 model, as the 1969 fender emblem was on the same line as the side reflector. ⇒ 1970 Chevrolet Step-van 7 P-10 [PS10535] |

I can't help but wonder if this is the same ice cream truck used in "Assault on Precinct 13" about 20 years prior. /vehicle_103836-Chevrolet-Step-Van-7-P-10-PS10535-1969.html Both movies were shot in the Los Angeles area, and the van above even looks like it has the faded remnants of the same graphic on the hood. |
