dsl ◊ 2013-07-14 01:17	If genuine, SOI 9124 plate was Jan 79 issue, but nothing on check sites and I suspect most cars in this series were filmed in Yorkshire with substitute plates. 79 date matches late rear badge and velour seats for 1750HL (also the black grille = HL), and it's definitely not a Maxi 2. -- Last edit: 2013-07-17 02:48:46
ianmax69 ◊ 2013-08-02 11:43	Thanks for posting this dsl,, I remember the Maxi in "Harry's Game" how he gets over the border in it driving from Dublin to Belfast,, I suspect its actually a twin-carb HLS as the interior image shows the much darker fake Walnut veneer whereas an HL by then had much lighter fake wood veneer.

ianmax69 ◊ 2013-09-01 14:06	HL's and HLS's both had tinted glass,, But Ive just noticed a funny continuity error,, When Billy Downs gets out the Maxi the aerials up,, yet in the interior shot,, what do you notice(or not notice actually)?
