At least 30 1955 Leyland Comet forward-control chassis were used for the delivery of concrete by Ready Mixed Concrete, Ltd. They were built by Ransomes and Rapier, Ltd. with high-discharge mixers of the American Willard pattern. Link to "archive.commercialmotor.com" |

Glass's says April 1955 name changed from Comet 90 to just Comet as it got a 100bhp engine at that point (although I don't see why we shouldn't make them Comet 100 if we want as we've one already). |
