Mk1, I think Morris Cooper (not S) - our neighbour had one in this scheme with a 66 D plate. Has correct 3-dial dash (although not exclusive to Cooper). |

Are those things on top wing mirrors? -- Last edit: 2013-04-27 03:10:38 |

Yup - "bullet" mirrors were popular accessories and were just as good at making your boyracer go faster as leather driving gloves. |

I don't think so, but dealer-fit accessories are possible and pretty well every garage or high street accessory shop (Halfords etc) sold them. It's probably not a coincidence that Britain first introduced the motorway speed limit of 70 mph in December 1965. -- Last edit: 2013-04-27 14:17:43 |

Nowadays the original ones make annother thing going faster: the prices at eBay. Some years ago I've sold a pair of original "Talbot" (from West-Berlin, no direct connection with the French car brand) - for more money, the K 70-wreck has cost me ![]() In fact they are useless and you have to demolish your car to mount them. The needed holes in the fender are really big! |

No, always aftersales market. Maybe some car-dealers had some among their offers, but AFAIK they never were packed and sold with packings of the car-brand. |
