Sandie ◊ 2013-04-13 20:00	THE CHMSL is at the end of the bootlid, most others I've seen has had it further up. Is there an implication for the year here? I think the 560 SL was the only one available by this time, but I could be wrong.

Sandie ◊ 2013-04-14 03:51	Always good to have more thumbnails regardless! I've done some research and indeed, 560 SL was the only model available in the US 1986-89. As for the CHMSL, I've looked at used cars on Auto Trader USA and as best as I can work out the change occurred during the 1987MY. Of the 87s listed there 1 has its CHMSL per here and the rest have it set further back. It might just be that that car had the bootlid changed or the CHMSL moved and it was a 1988 change, but until that can be proved we'll say 1987-89. -- Last edit: 2013-04-14 03:52:03
