Don't think this is a Consul Cortina (check the almost panoramic windscreen...). Could it be a Borgward P100 ? Link to "3.bp.blogspot.com" |

That's what I thought, Mike. It certainly ain't a (Consul) Cortina; it doesn't have the CND taillights. |

first thought Borgward P100, but backward slanted C pillar is eliminatory criteria, as the windscreen is for Cortina In Mexico they changed design of P100 inspired by later Rambler, so i would follow this trace more. It is conform with Rambler Classic. -- Last edit: 2013-03-01 22:19:02 |

Not a Cortina. My first thought was Moskvitch 408, perhaps slightly distorted by the picture, but about the right size for fairly short bonnet and doors. |

Andrepa, you mean this one I suppose. I'd say she doesn't match. I was thinking also about 1963 Plymouth. But Rambler feels more accurate. -- Last edit: 2013-03-01 22:43:25 |

yes, Borgward 230 GL looks like some Rambler, too, as it comes with slightly bended A pillar like P100, while Moskvitch doesn´t have, and front should be more trapezoid. BTW beeing pleased to hear ingo is of same opinion -- Last edit: 2013-03-01 22:33:06 |
