Not Kassbohrer, it is Setra-Seida S100 - probably S154. Setra-Seida was Spanish branch of the German Setra, which became independent factory later, but still with the word "Setra" in its name. -- Last edit: 2006-10-01 15:47:19 |

Could be even a Setra-Seida,but Pegaso could be only chassis Make,'cause body was that of original Setra S 100 bus series,apart different Brand on front end(the S 100 Series body was usually fitted on Mercedes running gears,in Germany;I admit my ignorance about license-made Setra buses:Setra-Seida was license built in Spain or not???) |

According to my source (from 1998). Seida exists since 1925. From the 1950's to the 80's they built buses under Setra licence - Setra-Seida, yes also with Pegaso chasis, I think. When the cooperation was ended, there was (or still is) a conflict between Germans and Seida about the name "Setra" which Seida continuously used. -- Last edit: 2006-10-01 20:25:50 |

Certainly not a Pegaso chassis, as 'Setra' is short for 'selbsttragend' (self supporting), i.e. a chassis-less bus construction. The Setra-Seida busses used Pegaso engines. |
