If it has a metal grille, it's 1993-94. If not, 1992. |

This is a Mercury Grand Marquis not a Ford Crown Victoria. Look at the windows and the absence of a Crown Victoria badge. G-MANN, stop renaming without commenting. Especially when you get things like this wrong. It should have been left as unknown so that somebody who knows these cars (like Ford Guy) could identify it correctly. -- Last edit: 2013-02-01 22:06:58 |

Well, it was an easy mistake to make (looks like 2 cops or Federal agents driving it). I try and do it and before someone goes "Ford?" and then another goes "Crown Victoria?" Or someone else goes "Could this be Ford Crown Victoria? " By the way, I'm not responsible for all the "phantom admin" work. I only enter names of stuff I easily recognise, stuff like this we've all seen loads of times, it's just this one time I got it wrong and it turned out to be the Mercury version (I do know the difference but this pic doesn't show everything). But I think I rarely make mistakes. -- Last edit: 2013-02-01 22:23:50 |

Why can't you comment before or after doing that? It's just such a sly and devious way of working because if you make a mistake no one knows it is you and instead the blame falls upon the uploader. And you're right, it is an easy mistake to make which means all the more reason to leave it as unknown. |

To save space? And it's hardly sly or devious. I only do it with very common stuff. Anyway, here I didn't just leave no comment. -- Last edit: 2013-02-01 22:36:30 |
