If it is a Sedan it is a Ford Orion MKII but an Escort MKIV would be more likely as a police car (and an early MKII Onion would have a different grill like: /vehicle_220142-Ford-Orion-1986.html ) |

taco is right: as a 2 door it is an Escort (Orions were all 4 door sedans). |
