This is still a "Econoline [E-350] Tri-Star Polis." -- Last edit: 2013-01-23 07:38:09 |

But from where does the "Polis" name comes? SAAB and Volvo Policecars are registered as "Polis" or "P" because it is Police edition (different suspension and a lot of other different things) But is that the case with this van? And isn't "Super V" a part of the model name? I'm a little confused here. I know that the year decides if it is a Econoline or not (even though I have never seen one registered as that i Sweden but ok) but what decides if it should be named "Polis" or not and what part of the model name that should be left out in the "Extra" (text in italics in model name)? Maybe someone can get more info from the "chassi number": 2TNGH61DOQY307178 -- Last edit: 2013-01-23 21:21:24 |

I checked Autocheck and carfax and neither of them bring up anything for that VIN. Maybe someone (Gamer) can pull that VIN? And see what it says? Then we can list it properly. |

That is an odd one. It's unlike any Ford VIN I've seen. |

Looks like incorrect VIN combination ![]() |

Similar case here /vehicle.php?id=910611 US origin, built by Tri-Star in Canada (not in Sweden, as listed) and then given a new VIN as a grey import vehicle. For this reaon, the VIN may be hard to decode |
