Looks interesting - am wondering if it's a Lonsdale (which would be a pretty amazing find for ultra-rarity). But am also wondering how to tell it apart from Mitsubishi Galant in a rear view - it would have to have a A or B prefix plate, but does look prefix of some sort ... |

My best guess on this is an 84 Mitsubishi Sigma Estate, but a rebadged Aus-made Lonsdale (not made in J) which is what they did after abandoning trying to sell them as Lonsdales - probably even rarer than a Lonsdale?!? Am fairly sure plate is A123 ABC format with A or B prefix, which excludes J-made versions in UK, and detail matches 84 brochure for badges and rear wiper; text reference to 2.6 engine proves those are Aus cars. If you can make out the small print, it says that every car came with a free 20" Mitsubishi colour TV in the back . -- Last edit: 2013-02-03 17:26:13 |
