Ok... must have been rare as you said. I think they started to buy newer Volvos (944) when the changed to this painting but maybe some of the 240s got them. (It could be a test as it looks odd (in the youtube clip)). I know they changed the blue fields from going from top top to bottom to only go from bottom to window height at some point). |

It's a 245 K-9 unit as seen by the extra ventilation on the roof, I wouldn't exactly call it a regular police car... |

At this time most police cars where sedans (like my former 854 S2.5 Polis) and Wagon/Kombis was mostly K9 or other special vehicles. Today all police cars are Wagon (exept for some unmarked ones) (like my V70 Polis) So of course the 245 is some special unit. |
