These have to be an interesting 1971 pre-serial cars, better visible pic of this well known photo session: Link to "www.ebay.com" So there is old logo of Renault placed at the grill, where the serial (early) cars had a different one placed at the hood (at least till 1974 MY). There is also interesting sort of the "découvrable" version prototype (?) on the left. Model mentioned in 1972 MY brochure, but not to buy till late 1972 AFAIK. -- Last edit: 2012-12-18 15:32:53 |

The ebay photo from ^ - ![]() then they moved the cars around: ![]() and they moved them around again to sit side by side in a line, but that photo as found online was too poor to reproduce here. |

PS - both 17s have bonnet bulges - does that mean TS? |

But 17 TL had it too. If red car is the same one what in 1972 brochure (only with removed badge), then it is TL acc to it. ![]() -- Last edit: 2012-12-18 17:17:21 |

Thanks. My confusion - both 17 TL and TS had bulge, but it does work for separating early 15 TL (no bulge) and 15 TS (bulge). (So this green one is 15TL). -- Last edit: 2012-12-18 19:10:04 |

Reconnaissables aux roues, sur ces premiers modèles... La R15 verte est bien une TL (moteur de R12) |
