That would be the case with fleet-type cars (police, taxis, etc.) However, this is a 1998-2002 model, possibly a Base [P73] car. |

Dual exhaust was not offered on the base unless equipped with the HPP, Handling Performance Package. We can shave off 2000-2002 as there aren't any federally mandated shelf anchors present. This is a 1999 P71 with the SAP, Street Appearance Package. Visually these P71 were identical to the base P73 with a few minor differences; dual exhaust, 140 speedo, no option of exterior keypad on driver's door, and bucket seats standard. The base P73, without the HPP, would have single exhaust, 120 speedo, bench seats and optional keypad on the doors. Both P73 and SAP P71 would have civilian door molding, body colored rear panel on the trunk, chrome strips on the bumpers and door handles, blacked out B-pillar, and the chrome grille. |
