Immediate thought was Riley RM, but rear side window corner and flat side window baseline don't match. |

I think it is a Riley RMA: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Riley_RMA_BW_1.jpg . Note the fabric (pre-vinyl?) roof and the hubcaps. -- Last edit: 2012-12-01 15:18:13 (dsl) |

It is a Riley RM for sure, but since the visible differences between RMA (1 1/2 litre)and RMB (2 1/2 litre), all occur in front of the windscreen it is not possible to say which. There appears to be distortion in the film, or a dent in the rear door. This car has the running boards and beaded edge wings deleted in 1953, but it is not possible to see if it has the modified rear bumper added in 1951. The cars are all separate chassis and coachbuilt, wooden framed and steel clad, with a fabric covered roof. |
