2009-2011 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. For the 2010 model year, Ford inexplicably changed the VIN codes on the entire CV lineup, so the Police Interceptor switched from the P71 code to P7B. Since I can't tell if this is a 2009 or a 2010-2011 model, I will leave the VIN field empty. Also, it is a 2009-2011 model as you can just see where the Flex Fuel badge is on the trunk. -- Last edit: 2012-11-12 06:18:41 |

It's a 2010-2011 - that was the first order of City of Miami police cars (this one is genuine, right down to the "Believe" bumper sticker, now standard on just about all City cars) to come with this particular lightbar. Shot was taken around Vizcaya, northbound (though facing northwest, to be exact) on US-1. -Kurt -- Last edit: 2012-11-12 02:40:09 |

Are you sure about that? Because here's a 2006-2008 model with this very same lightbar: http://www.flickr.com/photos/bentolosa/5347925689/ |

Pretty sure about that. Flickr car looks as if it was completely refurbished (not unusual; I've seen an MDPD Crown Vic that had a complete tear-down and repaint - virtually imperceptible from factory) - the prismatic reflective decals are generally a hallmark of the new batch too. Strange beast. -Kurt -- Last edit: 2012-11-13 04:45:07 |

Refurbished? It looks brand new to me ![]() Link to "www.flickr.com" http://www.flickr.com/photos/radioman/6227825201/ http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=132324&page=28 Here's a pre-2009 Chevrolet Impala as well: http://www.flickr.com/photos/juggernautco/3016789822/ Based off of different pictures, it appears as though the Miami PD uses a wide variety of lightbars, not just one. Maybe they just standardized beginning with the 2010 models? |

I'll keep my mouth shut about this one until I can verify it for sure - unless the City has begun to retrofit the bars onto everything they have. -Kurt |

If you look at the link for the Impala, it says the picture was taken on November 7, 2008. They've definitely been around for a while. |
