Ford Fairmont's were only used for subsidized(personal) vehicle patrols through the Honolulu Police Department. First seen/used on a buddy cop show that was also filmed in Hawaii called Hawaiian Heat(1984) filmed during season four of Magnum that was canceled after one season by ABC.
