The shape of the side stripe suggest Austin or Morris 1300 Mk III Traveller, sold only between 1971 and 1973, but the facia is earlier. The Traveller/Countryman was not built until 1966, so the 1964 registration cannot be right. |

Side strip also matches 68+ Mk2 1300 which could be either Austin Countryman or Morris Traveller. Not sure if facia was diagnostic for brand in Mk2 era, but plain hubcaps could suggest Austin more than Morris?? |

By certain details like the shape of the numberplate lights or the wheels I agree it's a Mk II. The 2nd thumbnail - where the steering wheel boss is visible - confirms it's an Austin. |
