Another replica, possibly... |

Looking at the door handles and the pop up head lights,I think this one is actually genuine (unlike Sonny Crocketts) |

I've heard this one was genuine and owned by someone on the crew, possibly Michael Mann |

Actually I dont think this is a real one either it appears to be a conversion of a normal hardtop, note the seats and the missing aerial in the garage scene of this episode, usually the spyders had seats with headrests and the trunks didnt seem quite so flat, so the only real appearance of a proper spyder was in the pilot for 5 seconds. |

Ferrari denunció esta mala réplica del daytona. Acabó destruido por la propia productora para evitar indemnizaciones. |

Of course this one is a real Daytona correctly filed as such. As for being a factory Spyder I couldn't find anything but since I see pop-up lights it could be changed to 1971 when the change from plexiglass lights occurred. |

There was only one original spider made with plexi front all other 126 factory spiders were made with popup lights. This is conversion from Berlinetta. Unless headrests have been removed as is sometimes done in USA films and TV series for some strange reason. |
