Dating as 63 for first launch, but could easily be later. Corvair influence was very strong during development - my Dad who was one of the diecasting engineers (involved with designing the Imp production machinery and tooling) had a trip to US in 61 to see Corvair production, and in 62 to Germany to see NSU and BMW factories.
