Yes, though correct model name is XL 600 R .gif ";)") I believe the red engine/silver frame/white-blue plastics combination was marketed after 1986, about golden vs. silver rims/forks it tends to get confusing, but allow at least for one year before the latter, so at least 1987. I believe this model was updated in 1989 (black engine, different decals on fuel tank). |

This is definitely an '87. I owned one. The '86 had the gold rims, swingarm, lower forks. |
