A-9937 also appeared in "A Night to Remember": /vehicle.php?id=331105 Unfortunately, it's unknown there, too. |

Most definitely not a Ford T. It is an English car from around 1907-10 - not sure what yet. The short engine hood/bonnet suggests it might only have a two cylinder engine. -- Last edit: 2012-06-03 22:56:28 |

Not certain at all but it looks like a 1910 Napier, possibly 10hp? Link to "www.prewarcar.com" Still searching for A9937 it must be preserved somewhere. The short appearance of the bonnet may be due to a problem with the aspect ratio. The "A Night to Remember" picture looks more acceptable I think. |

Back axle of Napier http://www.gracesguide.co.uk/File:Im1111Eng-Napier.jpg matches last thumbnail. Body matches Napier example in New Zealand. source: OldClassicCar.co.uk ![]() Napier 1909-1910 looking more likely... |

Appears to be a 1907 Swift. Here is one on display at Autoworld Brussels – it might even be the same car: Link to "de.wikipedia.org" |

Good result fortengo! There are some differences but almost certainly a 1907 Swift tourer, if not the same actual car. I cannot find more details of the museum car but in 1907 Swift produced... 9/10, 2-cyl 1400cc Swift engine, 6ft 10.5in wheelbase 9/11, 3-cyl 1357cc White & Poppe engine, 6ft 10.5in wheelbase 12/14, 4-cyl 1809cc White & Poppe engine, 8ft 11in wheelbase 16/20, 4-cyl 2800cc Swift engine, 8ft 11in wheelbase 18/24, 4-cyl 3628cc Swift engine, 8ft 11in wheelbase It looks like the longer wheelbase to me so Swift 12/14, 16/20 or 18/24 I guess. Swift 16/20 here... http://www.gracesguide.co.uk/File:Im1906Au-Swift271.jpg -- Last edit: 2012-06-05 14:09:41 |

I replaced the picture with another one, same frame but right ratio. With the time-tag, the film is now completely 'time-tagged'. |
