• please don't use the hell(o) smiley (which I really dislike) to "call" me. Writing my username in a comment is enough for it, unless you want me to turn into a grumpy bear • as already said a "see my last comment / my comment in December 2014 just above" would be more comprehensible: with that inner link showing the same screen, I didn't understand what you were talking about, at first: I expected to see the page of another vehicle; • I know you always refer to a single source when it's about the C/K-Series trucks, the Dammann book. But it seems to be the only document to mention this hypothetical Deluxe package for every model year. As I already explained you, this name didn't appear in Chevrolet literature until 1971, with the Custom Deluxe trim. It's also used in GMC documents as name for the basic trim level. C-Series trim levels for the 1969 and 1970 model years were Custom (full name: Custom Comfort and Appearance, but only the Custom short version was used in badges/logos) and Custom Sport Truck (badge: CST). I was wondering what the apparently 2-word name was for, in the fender emblem of this truck, until I remembered that: Custom Camper models were C-10 to C-30 trucks factory prepared for shell or cab-over campers... -- Last edit: 2015-09-10 02:29:00 |
