1936 Indy 500 practice/testing footage. Can't identify without a racing number though seems to have 1 on the tail; several cars practiced without being raced, so don't appear in published results, |

Maybe, or 21/41/51 on the list - I don't know what the cars should look like compared to this picture. Apparently there was no #1 or #11. The other problem is that the Bugatti appears as #49, not #8. With the lack of other Indy Bugattis to suggest instead, and assuming all info is correct, perhaps this is not Indy footage but another track and race in 1936?? The Miller #22 is a very convenient fit, but there were millions of old Millers around so there may have been other matching events. |
