There are so many similar looking cars with front-mounted dashes at that time. At least, this car has wire wheels as Packard used them from the beginning. Ohio Motor Car Co. built exactly 5 Packard Model A, all of them Runabouts built in 1899. Successor was Model B (1900) with a produiction run of 49. Model C appeared in Nov., 1901, quite late for an appearance in this movie. |

This couldn't be a Packard, missed by that much! The parade was held on November 4, 1899 and the first Packard was completed...exactly two days later! ![]() Construction of the Model A Packard began by the end of 1899. |
